Vision

My work revolves around the concept of visual harmony, balancing the rigorous geometric construction of the set with the emotional suspension that follows a performance. Deeply influenced by a classical background and a twenty-year journey as a blues musician, I translate the rhythm and pauses of music into photographic compositions where silence and empty space become structural elements. I understand the timing of the stage: I know when to release the shutter because I capture the pauses, which often resonate louder than the notes themselves.

Biography

Specializing in fine-art portraiture and music photography, I portray contemporary artists both during live performances and within my studio, designing each set as a minimal, geometric scenic space.

My photographs have been featured in major national and international publications, contemporary art catalogs, and on numerous vinyl and CD covers. In 2019, I expanded my visual research into directing and editing art-driven music videos, and have shared my vision as a TEDx speaker.

In 2021, I published the photo book “Il silenzio che c’è fuori” (curated by Barbara Silbe, with a preface by Lorenzo Marone), a visual anthology celebrating my first decade in music photography, designed in a distinct 30×30 vinyl format. In 2022, my work earned a nomination at the Abbey Road Studios Music Photography Awards in London for Best Photograph. I live and work in Naples, Italy, where I maintain my professional studio.
